Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Arrive at Paro International Airport and meet your guide before driving to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city. Enjoy a scenic drive through the valleys and visit Buddha Dordenma Statue and Memorial Chorten if time permits. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing & Trek Preparation

Explore Thimphu’s cultural highlights including the National Institute for Zorig Chusum, Takin Preserve, Folk Heritage Museum, and local markets. Meet your trekking team and prepare for the adventure. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu – Genekha – Gur Trek Camp

After breakfast, drive to Genekha village, the starting point of the Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek. Begin trekking through beautiful forests and traditional villages before reaching the campsite. Enjoy mountain views and peaceful surroundings. Overnight at camp.

Day 4: Gur Camp – Labatama Camp

Continue trekking through rhododendron forests and alpine landscapes. Cross mountain ridges offering spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. Reach Labatama Valley, surrounded by pristine lakes and high mountains. Overnight at camp.

Day 5: Explore Dagala Lakes – Labatama Camp

Spend the day exploring the beautiful Dagala region, famous for its crystal-clear alpine lakes. Visit nearby lakes such as Reli Tsho, Hen Tsho, and Tshomo Tsho while enjoying panoramic views of Mount Kanchenjunga and Himalayan ranges. Overnight at camp.

Day 6: Labatama – Panka Camp

Trek across high mountain landscapes with breathtaking views of Bhutan’s wilderness. Walk through yak grazing areas and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the high Himalayas. Overnight at camp.

Day 7: Panka – Talakha – Thimphu

Descend gradually through forests and mountain trails towards Talakha Monastery. Continue to Thimphu by vehicle and relax after completing the trek. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 8: Thimphu – Paro

Drive to Paro and visit Rinpung Dzong, National Museum, and Kyichu Lhakhang. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Paro. Overnight in Paro.

Day 9: Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike

Today, hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Bhutan’s most iconic cultural landmark. Enjoy breathtaking views of the monastery perched on a cliff above the Paro Valley. Return to Paro for a farewell dinner. Overnight in Paro.

Day 10: Departure from Paro

Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight.
